Describe the issue
Hello, All of my devices no longer play. When I click on the volume icon, the volume bars flash on and off and the menu disappears. iPad, iPhone, Mac, Roon Core, all of it. I have restarted everything, including my streamer and router and modem.
No progress.
This happened suddenly with no change to my system. Please advise.

Looking closely at your logs around the time of the incident (Jan 27, ~9:30 PM), we see a specific critical error: RAATServer client connection failed. Connection refused.
This means the Roon audio engine (RAATServer) running on your Mac mini has crashed or became corrupted, which explains why the interface is “ghosting” (flashing volume) and why the system thinks music is playing when it isn’t.
Before diving into complex router settings, please try this Soft Reset of the Audio Engine. This is usually the quickest fix for this specific error:
Quit RoonServer on your Mac mini.
Open Finder and navigate to your Roon database folder:
Press Command + Shift + G
Type ~/Library/RoonServer/ and hit Enter.
Locate the folder named RAATServer.
Rename this folder to RAATServer_old.
Restart RoonServer. (Note: This will reset your Audio Device settings, so you will need to re-enable your Zones in Settings -> Audio, but your library and playlists will be safe).
If the issue persists immediately after this: Please check if you have any third-party security software (Little Snitch, Norton, McAfee, LuLu) running on the Mac mini. The logs indicate something might be blocking the local connection on port 9200. Please temporarily disable them or add an exception for Roon.
The symptom you’ve reported can occur if the Tidal/Qobuz/KKBOX session has become stale or the content you’re attempting to play isn’t actually being delivered via their API.
Does this problem happen if you play locally stored files?
Please simply restart your RoonServer and then sign out/back in of any streaming services within Roon (Settings → Services).
If this doesn’t help, then try deleting the cache:
