After restarting the Roon server (unfortunately due to a power outage), the system removed all local albums from the overview (approx. 6,000) and is now rebuilding them. We are currently at album 44. This could take days. I hope that no repair work is necessary. Can anyone explain the behaviour of the Roon server to me?

It also seems that he is still compiling the albums. There are some, for example with the Alban Berg Quartet, where he has not yet collected all the individual CDs and does not yet know that a PDF is available. Could it be that the database is also broken?

Would it make sense to restore from a backup? One was made last night.
Hi all,
Roon has now run through the NAS and reintegrated almost everything. However, it overlooked some tracks and PDFs, meaning that some albums could not be identified. How can I get the tracks back into the system?
Now I have taken a backup from a day before yesterday and all works well. Never let roon try this thing itself without help.

I would recommend a battery backup. This applies to any type of server.
