Thanks for writing in to let us know about this issue. Let’s try clearing your tidal cache

  • In the Roon app sign out of Tidal and then sign back in. If your Tidal content does not appear proceed to the next steps.
  • Exit out of Roon
  • Find and open your Roon database
  • Navigate to /Library/Roon/Cache
  • Move the contents of the /Cache folder elsewhere, like your desktop
  • Try restarting Roon and verify if the issue still occurs

Sorry about the delay in responding. While looking deeper into this I noticed your Roon version is outdated and we’ve had a number of fixes implemented since the last time you updated. Can you try updating your Roon devices to the current version?

I’m running roon 1.8 build 1151.
That’s the latest 1.8!version yes?

It was working well before which is the mysterious part?
Not wishing to upgrade to 2.0.

Does that mean there’s no fix?
Glad I moved to monthly subscription I think.

Before giving up please try relogging into Tidal. Our diagnostics show your server as not being logged into Tidal
