@Kevin_Kennedy No, haven’t experienced this problem and did not have any crashes or other unexplained behaviour in the 2+ weeks I’ve now left both devices powered up.
Is there anything blocking the air vents on the top surface of the USBridge? Clutching at straws here.

No, there’s nothing blocking the vents. I am going to wait a couple of weeks or until it next crashes and report back whichever is sooner. LOL I am having unrelated AV problems and might have inadvertently glitched the power to the Shanti which has a long time constant and causes the USBridge to hang if the power goes invalid momentarily because it does not drop quickly enough to generate a valid reset during such events.
