I have tagged my albums using self-defined tags for genre, mood, and instrument. When selecting two tags, say ‘Mood - Calm’ and ‘Genre - Jazz’, the resulting list does not contain my jazz albums with calm music but instead the jazz albums and in addition all albums tagged as calm, regardless of their genre. Not only does that result not meet my expectation, but I cannot even conceive of a use case where that combination makes sense.
Technically speaking, the current behaviour is a result of Roon combining the filter matches for tags with the logical OR operator. In my option, use of the logical AND operator would make much more sense in this case. I’d appreciate it if this would be implemented in the future, maybe as a user-accessible switch somewhere in the configuration settings.
