You’re using powerline adaptors? I suspect that could well be a major factor in the issue, judging by other threads on the forum such as this:

Thanks for all your suggestions. I spent the money, and had Cat6 ethernet cable run under my house from the office to the audio system in the living room. The system has run my tests flawlessly for many hours.
