Amazon Music is Coming! to Cambridge Audio StreamMagic so when will Roon get it?!

At the end of Jan 2025, Cambridge Audio received approval to integrate their StreamMagic app with Amazon Music joining Tidal, Qobuz, etc. Check out huge news #3 as announced on CheapAudioMan’s YouTube: https://youtu.be/50rv0Xv1PKg?si=0t_RzyIymgFso78f&t=605

So does this give Roon the entrance to integrate with Amazon Music?! Please. Please. Please!

Thank you!!

The answer is almost certainly no. Roon requires deeper access to Amazon’s data than just using the API. See:

And it’s Amazon that you should be pushing to allow Roon to integrate, not Roon Labs.

Thank you for the quick reply and additional information.

My Rose RS130 presents Apple Music through an API. It sounds horrible to my ears since it’s 256 kpbs AAC. Rose had enough users request it and that’s the only thing Apple would provide. Not sure what format Amazon would provide through an API but if it’s AAC, no thanks. I love Roon and use my library and Tidal with it. I use Roon ARC in the car. I pretty much stopped using Apple Music since Roon sounds better with Tidal than playing through Airplay.
