Description of Issue

@support The screenshot below will tell you. This has been going on for app 16 hours.

I did reboot the Nucleus a couple of times yesterday as I was having issues connecting to a new Raspberry Pi

Is this a new install? if so, look to see if the analysis speed is set to “throttled”, if it is change it and see if that helps. change it back ponce the analysis is done. in settings/library.

i have noticed some connectivity issues with the Roon server in the last week or so, so this might be an internet flakyness issue??

If this is an old install might try cleaning up the library? also in settings/library

I’m having the same message and only able to play previously saved to library files. I tried to log onto my roon account and that says that it’s unable to find my account.
Tidal and qobuz through roon are not working, but are through their native Apps

It is not a new install, well I have had the Nucleus away for a repair. I got it back last Friday. This event just started yesterday.
I have changed it to Fast1 to see if it helps
I am also cleaning up the library.

Ok this did not appear to work…it is still doing the analysis

You need to rid yourself of the “Metadata improver paused”-message.
There are several reasons for this, the common one for me is that this particular core started up unlicensed. (meaning, another Core was authorized and granted your license)
Try this:
Go to Settings
Disconnect your Core
Log out (top left on the screen)
Restart your Nucleus/ROCK from the GUI
Restart your Controller
Log in to your Roon account anew, after selecting your Core.
If your license is granted to any other cores you will be asked to deauthorize the old Core. Do this…

Did this do the trick?

What is the GUI? Do you mean reboot it?

YES it bloody well did , thank you.

It did not ask me to deauthorise any old cores but it did work
