Adding new files and analyzing is stuck at 8758/8759. Why?

This is quite common, and i often solve it (it’s usually not a fault per se, just a glitch) by turning background analysis Off, let it rest for a few seconds and then set it back to 2 cores or whatever your choice is.
It is also solved by rebooting the server if you feel better about that (i don’t 
).

It could also be that one of the files you recently added was not ripped properly or got corrupted during download. You may be able to re-import/download/rip the files to fix this? Or you could delete the files one by one to try to identify the problems one, then re-rip/download etc. that one file?
That being said I would try @Mikael_Ollars suggestions first.
