And... why can't I backup?

Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)
NUC 13/I can’t find the number but the latest.

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)
Netgear 1gig/Netgear switch/ethernet

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

PS Audio DirectStream DAC/Bridge II

Description Of Issue

Since migrating to a NUC, my backups won’t work.

I suspect the problem is the mismatched names for my drives.

This is what I see:

But my drives are named for some of our rabbits. Nothing seems to change this. All the drives are still formatted APFS.

Hi @Dan_Schwartz,

It looks like this issue is stemming from the APFS formatting. Linux devices can’t write to drives formatted in this way, so in order to backup to them you’ll have to reformat them.

Shoot. Okay - ExFat or that-other-one-that-ends-in-3-or-4.

Exfat if you need cross-platform compatibility (Windows, Mac), Ext4 if not.
