All devices have been updated to Roon 1.8 but after update core “sees” my LM-V600 but the LM-V600 unit does not see itself as a zone but shows all other zones! Going to settings/audio on the phone itself, the phone is not listed! The phone is running Android 10. I have another Android 9 phone that has no issues.
Assume you’ve done a system wide reboot?
I have 3 Huawei android devices (2 at v10 & 1at v9) - all running 1.8 and functioning as remotes and end points. I have them all as private zones so they can only see themselves.
Maybe try deleting & reinstalling 1.8 app on the suspect device?
A reboot of the core shows the Android 10 device for a short time in both “play to” and “settings/audio”, confirmed that “private zone” is turned off. After a while the Android 10 phone will disappear from the" play to" area of ALL devices, including the phone in question, although the phone is still showing in “Settings/Audio”.
I have uninstalled Roon from ALL devices (including database deletion) and reinstalled, which restores all devices in the “Play to” area, but after between 1-5 hours the Android 10 phone disappears from “Play to” on all devices but is still showing on all devices under “Settings/Audio”
If it is of any help the Android 10 phone is an LG V60 THINQ.
