I have the same issue on my Lenovo android tablet. On opening the remote Roon app the screen flickers and after about 15 to 20 seconds the app crashes.

I did the update on a OnePlus Pad 2 and it made it unusable. The first time this has ever happened. Wow! Will try the notifications workaround tonight.

· I have Roon running on Intel NUC. The system has been working fine for months. This weekend when I open Roon on a tablet and or phone it opens for about 15 seconds allowing me to select an album and then disappears into the background. I've tried reinstalling roon as an app on tablet/phone...rebooted the NUC and have updated the NUC via google store....What is the issue?

The Roon ARC app has had persistent problems with Android 16 + 17 and notifications for many many months. Play stopping when phone screen off. The only way of fixing it is hard quitting app and reloading to enable play notification properly.
Other than the issues already noted, this latest Android version also doesn’t work with my home VPN. All previous versions have been fine.
Previously when connected to my home network via VPN in a remote location, the Roon app would function normally on my Android phone. But now it does not connect or see the the ROCK server.
