· When I go into my library from within android auto and click the letter button to search by letter, I only get a-m and then everything is greyed out until t. Same if I scroll through the artists it skips from M artists to T. Seems fine on my phone and I even cleared data and re-synced library with same results.

What you’re seeing is a reflection of scroll-limiting safety features built into the head unit itself. The screen will only display a certain number of objects in a list at any given time to discourage users from scrolling while the engine is on.
In an alphabetical sort, this will omit entire letters.
Roon and ARC don’t have any method to override safety features in the head unit, unfortunately. The only solution would be to create a custom playlist with fewer total artists/tracks/albums.
This occurs with the A-Z feature, not only scrolling. Since a letter is already displayed this makes no sense because the action is to avoid scrolling and jump directly to a specific letter.
As the other person in the thread said, it’s not just the scroll function. It’s the search/jump to letter function. Those letters are greyed out. Other apps like plexamp or symphonium don’t have this issue.
Thanks, that clears everything environmental here. The AA unit serves up this Google alphabet jump index but it’s just responds to the object list it receives from ARC. A connectivity issue wouldn’t cause a clean cutoff alphabetically. It makes sense “T” would still appear in the greyed-out dead zone, since “The” objects would have been truncated separately in A-M.
What is the specific phone you’re both using? Diagnostics indicate several models under @donfrenchiano’s account. The head unit itself shouldn’t matter since this Google jump-to-text is pretty universal and there’s no car-layer logic involved.
We may need, at some point, to request that you kindly reproduce the issue once more so we can gather verbose logging. However, we don’t need that at this time.
The only reliable workaround is to reach the content in the AA list via another pathway. Voice control, splitting the library into two alphabetical playlists (#A-M, N-Z, etc.). These are clunky tools you shouldn’t need to use. We’ll take a look at what’s happening.
I have a galaxy s25 and a pixel 10a and it does the same thing on both devices. I’ve seen other people on reddit complain about the same issue as well.
We’ve discussed this with our senior QA and development teams. The team is investigating some possibilities here and, as soon as that investigation is complete, we’ll be sure to follow up ASAP.

Have finally got ARC up and running after giving up on the setup a few years ago, and now I have it, I love it!
Odd thing this morning though, in the car, using ARC through carplay, I select Artists, and select the alphabetical search on the left, tap “P” looking for “Photek” and it’s not there (there’s also a lot of missing artists apparent in the list that I know are in my library). go to Albums, again use the alphabetical search, and tap"N" and there’s Natural Born Killa EP, attributed to Photek…
