· Hi. My Roon Nucleus is generally fine but I have a small problem in that my android devices seem to have trouble finding the server. However, if I disconnect the Nucleus from the network then re connect they seem to pick up the server OK. Any thoughts please?

· Router is a BT router HomeHub 6DX. No VPN but one TP Link extender in another room from the router and not near the Nucleus. Nucleus is connected directly to the router via ethernet cable
Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to the forum! Can you please clarify the model/manufacturer/OS version of the affected Android device? Are other Roon remotes affected or just the Android? Does the issue also happen if the Android device is connected to the router instead of the TP-Link Extender?
Motorola Razr 60 and a Samsung Tablet S10FE. Both run android 16. The only other device I have is my PC which is unaffected. The issue still arises if the android devices are connected straight to the router and not via the extender.
If you can, please bring your server back online, we’ll enable diagnostic mode to take a closer look.
In the meantime, if you delete the Roon mobile app on the affected devices and perform a fresh install while being connected to your primary router, do you run into the same issues?
Hi Benjamin. My Roon Nucleus One is always on so I’m guessing that the server is online also. Does it have to be playing music to be online?
I checked on your second point and I still have the same issue. To pick up the Roon server I can either take out the ethernet connection and immediately replace it or switch off the Nucleus One and immediately switch it on again to connect with the server. Once connected, the link seems stable.
