BTW, here’s my config. I’m using an iphone as the roon remote.
Just tried with another android (samsung galaxy tab s6 with android 12) and a dongle (ibasso DC01). Same depth conversion happened.
Here are for Team Roon to investigate.
Build 84 of ARC was released on the Play store, have you tested that version yet?

Yes tested the build version 84. The result is the same.
I’m using uapp to test if the file can go out to usb dac without resampling. It seems uapp can achieve so.

Hopefully Roon will get to the bottom of it with a bit of time.
To me this is still an improvement over the standard Android Audio output, but I understand we are all looking for perfection
