Before Roon launched earlier this year, the community site was active with its own login system. When Roon launched, it also had its own login system, and so many of you may now have two kinds of logins:

The 2 accounts systems have been a big source of confusion, so our plan is to unify these accounts into a single Roon login. After October 7th, Roon member accounts and the community accounts will be one and the same.

How does this affect you?

Case 1: If you have an existing Roon membership account and no community account

You can now log into the community site using your Roon account credentials.

Case 2: If you have an existing Roon membership account and a community account using the same email address

You can now log into the community site using your Roon membership account email and password. The password for your community login will be disabled.

Case 3: If you have an existing Roon membership account and a community account using a different email address

You can now log into the community site using your Roon membership account email and password. You will also get a second Roon membership account created with the email on your community site account (but with no active membership licenses). To login to this “second account”, see Case 4 below.

Case 4: If you do not have a Roon membership account, but you do have a community account

You have been given a Roon membership account (but with no active membership licenses). However, your password will not be able to be migrated, so you will have to reset your password at Password Reset - Roon Labs
