Hi, a question please for anyone with experience in DCS network bridge setup.
I’m currently using a Macmini as my music server with bridged ethernet connections between the DCS and my cable only (no wifi) modem. I run Roon Server on the Macmini. My Roon Endpoint is a DCS Network Bridge.
Would I be able to do without the Macmini if I connected my external hard drive directly to the DCS Network bridge with USB? And used DCS Mosaic on an iPad only to drive music from my hard drives and QOBUZ without the Roon app at all?
And should my sound quality improve this way?
Will I still need Roon?
