No. Other than fiddling with it to try to get the option of merging to appear, but I made sure to revert to standard after trying.
Is the album identified in Roon?
Yes
Is this content from local files, TIDAL, or Qobuz?
Local. But the content is often available on Qobuz as well. Here is a screenshot of how I tag locally with flac files:

Could the issue arrive from the merging of Roon and file options?
- If so, how do I correct this issue with already imported albums.
- If so, why does this happen with some artists on the album and not all.
Description of the issue
Merging artists, I have waded through a lot of topics so far that address this feature, but I can’t quite get hands around it. In advance; apologies if the question has been asked and answered, I haven’t found it.
I have always tagged very thoroughly, in the multiple Artist fashion in MP3tag (see screenshot way above) and I often run into double artists in Roon. As for instance with this Brecker album and the drummer Bill Stewart. Clicking both artist and merging is unfortunately not an option, because the button to merge does not appear (see screenshot below).
I have tried some options given in other threads concerning merging; like adding the Qobuz album (mine is local of course) to my library, adding the artist as Album Artist in the Album Editor, but have yet to discover the “merge artist” button appearing. I have tried a lot of my local albums where this behaviour occurs and can’t resolve it anywhere.
Any tips on how to procede are very welcome, thank you.
