A recent thread had comments turned off. So adding another one in hopes Roon becomes aware.
Latest software update will no longer work across all QNAP Nas machines. Disappointing that update notes were buried at the bottom of the newsletter and that Roon itself has not provided a rollback or work around.
Roon states : If your NAS model supports an upgrade to a newer operating system version, such as QuTS hero h6.0, the newer system may include updated components that improve compatibility with Roon’s latest requirements
I am currently running w/ the latest update, QuTS hero h6.0.0.3500, and Roon still does not work.
It does say, “…may include updated components…”, and certainly the latest QuTS beta is reported to ship with glibc > 2.27 and OpenSSL 1.1.1, which is what changed in Roon’s minimum requirements, and is all that changed to run .NET 10.

TY for the reply. I just updated to the latest version this morning and it initially did not work. However after reading your post I figured to restart the Roon app on the QNAP and let’s see what happens.
Voila! Now working with this latest update. I will say it is VERY slow as far as selecting tracks, starting, stopping and track scrolling but I’ll take it vs not working entirely =)
I have flagged this post for removal and will update in the QNAP community / forum
