Any way in Roon to compare a FLAC file to same cut added as .WAV?

Using SGC SonicTransporter and Sonore Optical Rendu. Converted a sample .FLAC file to .WAV using DBpoweramp converter on my Mac Air laptop.

Description of Issue

I am able to drop the sample .WAV file on Roon screen to import it. However doing so causes Roon to delete the entire set of files for the album my sample .wav belongs to which is already in Roon as flac files.

I would like to be able to find and play the .wav file in Roon and easily switch to the .flac file for the same cut. Thanks for any suggestions on how to make this work.

Why are you dragging it in? Roon will copy it your music watched folder if you drag it in. Just stick them alongside the flac files in your watched folder it will pick it up as a different version…

Roon wont delete any files, all it does is make the wavs the primary version of the album or track so if you in track view you only see primary version tracks not all versions of tracks. Goto the album and select the versions you want and add it to a playlist.
