Each time I start my system the display brightness screen comes up then I have to get up and hit save. Any way to disable screen brightness from displaying when I first turn it on.
I have 3 displays and non of them come up this way and they are all set for much less than full brightness.
I would suggest you send Harry @spockfish a feedback, bat also having dont that perhaps refresh your SD card and reinstall it to see if that helps.

Any way to disable screen brightness from displaying when I first turn it on.
I am using a 5 inch Dfrobot display with display output everything else works and I love it.
also I don’t know how to access the diplay ini file. a bit green in linux and rpi
I tried a new flash card a few times with display attached.
