After my ARC app was not able to connect to the server anymore I wanted to try if reverting to the production version of the server would help with the issue. I followed this
KB article but was unsuccessful in reverting the server version back to production. Instead of downgrading the server the server is now unable to be restarted and remains “Not Started”. I have tried rebooting my ROCK multiple times as well as a tried to install the early access instruction file but none of that worked.
Contradictory to the KB article the instruction files are also not removed from the directory after the reinstallation which tells me that the reinstallation with the instruction files does not work properly.
I do not know what to do now as Roon is now inaccessible to all my endpoints and I have no other instruction file to try the reinstallation process with.

Server 500 means Roon cloud service is at fault. I have tried restarting my Roon server and the result is the same.
Broken how? Do you see a cloudflare error? If yes, then wait until cloudflare has sorted out its current issue.

Woke up and got a message that I was logged out of Tidal. Roon remote opens a browser page for Tidal, log into Tidal page no problem, redirects back to Roon but Roon won’t then actually log into Tidal. Tried logging out and back in.

One other thing I have observed is that when the cloud services are out, I started playing from my local library, but sometimes in the middle of a song, it would just stop and the roon server drops out. I had to restart the remote to reconnect. It seems that there are some syncing of the server-remote graph that has to go back to the cloud services and this failing causes the dropouts.
Roon needs a more robust local playing environment just in case the cloud services are unavailable.
