Anyone notice an issue with part of Home Page [or other Roon cloud content] loading slowly? [Investigating]

In addition to the home page loading slowly, there are other issues. All listed here:

  1. Home page loading slowly ✓
  2. Settings → Roon ARC → error code: 526 (but ARC will continue to work outside the home) ✕
  3. Profile pictures are not saved ✕ (previously loaded icons were saved and are now visible, but new icons are not)
  4. Artist information loading slowly:
    • Key members ✓
    • In their prime ✓
    • Influences/Followers/Associated ✓
    • Collaboration ✓
  5. The recommended section on the Album page isn’t loading ✓
  6. Device icons missing (unverified)

If anything else is spotted, please let me know. Unfortunately, moderators cannot add a banner, since this requires admin access.

Same here. About 1 minute to display the home page completely.

What’s particularly frustrating is that if one drills down into the menu then forgets to back (“<“) all the way out, and instead jumps straight back to Home, it’s yet another minute wait. Some kind of caching would surely make sense.

Additional artist info in the Overview page loading slowly, such as:

  • Key members
  • In their prime
  • Influences/Followers/Associated
  • Collaboration

I just upgraded to build 1629 and the recommended section on the Album page isn’t loading at all.

I did see that but this is a section on the Album page, not the Home Page.

And it’s not loading at all. No little speaker thing while you wait. Just gone.

There are all kinds of issues with anything that loads stuff from the cloud. Note that the linked post lists various things apart from the home page already. Nothing to do but wait until Roon Labs fixes it

One more thing:

Zone icons aren’t working for me. My homepods are showing as a speaker not actual homepod(s).

Same issue here. I rebooted the server with no improvement.

It’s a Roon cloud problem. Don’t mess with your server, nothing you can do

100%, restarted internet and server. Still no loading of new releases

Hi everyone - thanks for the reports.

We’re aware of an issue affecting some cloud-backed features (including discovery and radio), which may appear slow or intermittently unavailable for some users. These issues aren’t related to the recent 2.60 update - the timing is coincidental.

Our infrastructure team is actively working to restore normal service. We’ll share updates here as we have more to report.

And the ARC error 526? Just asking because it’s not mentioned in the banner or your post specifically, and it would be nice to have an official reference for this one, too.

Hi,
since the latest update to Roon Server 2.60/Roon Remote 2.60 on Feb. 12, 2026, the test routine for ARC does not seem to work properly any more. The respective menu within “settings” shows “not ready” - although in reality ARC works properly on the mobile devices. Occasionally (maybe one in ten tries), the test works, but when clicking on “refresh”, it fails again.
I don’t know whether this is related to the overall cloud services issues Roon is currently facing (as per the banner on the community homepage), but just wanted @Roon_Moderators to know.
