Anyone notice an issue with part of Home Page [or other Roon cloud content] loading slowly? [Investigating]

Roon page loading now seems to be snappier than I can remember.

Hey everyone, a quick update - we’ve identified the issue and applied mitigations to improve stability. Things look better at the moment, and we’re continuing to monitor and adjust as needed.

And the ARC error 526

This error hasn’t been addressed yet. Still investigating.

I also noticed that endpoint icons are missing after the update. Please address this as well.

No improvements here yet, Norway

Profile image does not save. It allows you to browse and select the image that shows up in the edit window but after clicking “save” it doesn’t apply it.

Already on the list

This remains an outstanding issue.

However, please note that the image is uploaded to the cloud, but not displayed in the Roon GUI (the image I uploaded yesterday during the issue is now displayed, but a new one is not.)

The list is updated with current status:

Well I am getting nothing now. Just a white screen. Fantastic.

Loading home page looks like being back to normal (The Netherlands).

Loading speeds in Roon are back to being near instantaneous. I’m so glad this wasn’t an issue with my Mac Mini M4, I was losing my mind thinking it was the problem as it just started happening right after the transfer, or at least that I noticed.

Seems the Roon team is getting things sorted, and hopefully error 526 will be handled in good time and our lives can return to normal and the Roon team can sleep XD

I have now performed the “Roon ARC test” within Roon Remote 5 times, and it always confirmed access to the server. So it seems the underlying issues have been resolved. Thank you.

I get it too. In my case I see the animated Roon gif right below the “Listen Later” panel. Rebooted my server yesterday, accessed via iPad Pro.

Checking in from Northern California, everything zippy this morning, seems to be back to normal, fingers crossed.

Thanks @vova

Not seeing the 526 error now :+1:

One of the underlying problems with the recent Roon Home page debacle is the insistence that items load in one particular order, leading us to sit watching that damned beached jellyfish every time they are having problems.

This was raised back when they relegated Discover to the bottom of the page, telling many of us (rather patronisingly) that we just didn’t “get it”, that we didn’t understand how we should be browsing for music in their brave new world. We dinosaurs learnt to save Discover as a bookmark and went back to listen to our music rather continuously whining. But once again:

Why can’t we have some choice in the order of things on Home? Let me relegate the perpetually badly loading (and to me uninteresting) bits to the bottom of the page and raise the bits I most want to see. We are paying a subscription for the software, so should it not actually do what we want it to? For me the daily mixes, playlists and new releases (I prefer the Qobuz selection) would go to the bottom go to the bottom of my Home (in part due to their bad behaviour) so that I could see my recent listening, Live radio and recent artists without waiting on the death of a jellyfish

I had a lot of trouble reading you.
