Describe the issue

I need to speak to someone on the phone. I have a large library (over 260,000 tracks) and the app just spends all its time buffering. Data appears in the track list and then disappears. I am not a computer buff and don't intuitively know how to fix things like this and your help process confounds me. Can you please give me a phone number. Thanks

Describe your network setup

I have a Mac Studio computer connected to a NAIM streamer. My music is stored in an iTunes library part held on the computer hard drive and mostly on an external Drive

Hello @andyswarbrick ,

Thanks for reaching out.

Please note that we do not offer phone support at this time, but we would be more than happy to assist you here on the forum, our entire support team is on the Community forum and regularly reviews cases such as yours, so I am confident we can get to the bottom of the issue.

I’ve activated diagnostics mode for your account, and what this action does is upload a set of logs to our servers for review. Looking over the logs, I can see that Roon has marked your entire library as needing to be updated.

Can you please confirm, is there anything about your Roon usage that typically requires the entire library to be re-processed? Do you have tags or playlists that you apply to all tracks in your library, or do you change your Roon Settings → Library → Import settings often?

Additionally, can you please navigate to Roon Settings → Library and set both On-Demand and Background Audio Analysis to Throttled or Off and see if that helps?
