· CoreAudio & system audio devices not enabling / Stuck trying to enable
I have a number of Apple Devices which recently (last two weeks) have, first, lost their connection (via Roon) to their outputs and now get stuck or fail to enable the CoreAudio or System audio devices.
Mac Mini 1 - Apple M2Pro running Tahoe 26.3 Mac Mini 2 - Apple M4Pro running Tahoe 26.3 iPad Pro running iPadOS 17.7.10 ROCK is running on an Intel NUC using Version 2.59 (build 1625) earlyaccess
The Mac Mini's all run Bitdefender. The M2Pro is connected over Wifi (Netgear Orbi Pro) and the M4Pro is hardwired to the router. iPad is connected via Wifi.
ROCK is hardwired into the Router.
I have tried the following: - resetting (toggling) the Local Network access for each of the Mac Mini devices - reinstalling Roon on each of the Mac Mini devices - removing and re-adding Roon & RAATServer to the firewall rules - after each of the changes above - restarting the ROCK

You need to update Roon to 2.60 on your NUC. Early access 2.59 is not compatible with 2.60 controllers because they expect Roon Bridge 2.60. You can see more in:
Having different versions of Roon installed across your devices can lead to compatibility issues, as backward compatibility is not always guaranteed.
You will need to either roll back your ROCK to the production build or enroll your remotes in Early Access so that all devices are on the same version.
You can find instructions on how to enroll in Early Access or roll back to production here: Roon Early Access Program
