Description of Issue

Have been running the nucleus rig for 4, 5 months without issue. Now, when I open roon app on MacBook or iPhone, they cannot locate the Core. Persistent issue, have tried rebooting Orbi satellite several times, rebooted Nucleus several times.

Appreciate any assistance you can render.

Hey @Derek_Svoren,

Thanks for getting in touch as soon as this happened and for your patience while we got a chance to reply. So sorry about the delay

There are a few things worth checking:

  1. Are all your devices (Nucleus and remotes) running the same (and latest) version of Roon?
  2. Are all devices on the same IP subnetwork?(rebooting your Orbi might have changed that)

On your iPhone, can you please check if iOS permissions are enabled?

Thanks so much

Hoping to hear back from you

Rebeka

Thanks for reaching out; I kept experimenting with things after I posted for help… I still don’t know exactly what the issue was but I rebooted my entire wifi including the router and all satellites, and shortly thereafter it started working again

So for the time being, it’s all fixed

Please let me know if you have any questions

Thanks
