@KeizerSauze can you access the Roon Web display in a browser using the same IP address?
Can the Roon server on the Mac Mini see the Apple TV as a audio zone?
Have you tired rebooting the Roon server?
@David_Weinberg are the HomePods enabled as zones in Roon server? The TV:Remote will only show enabled zones.

They are now 
I had some network issues, and when things settled the HomePods were not on the network and therefore did not appear on Apple TV. All is well now (at least for the TV:Remote)

Yes.
This is likely related to the TV:Remote app not reaching the core. Both the Roon Display and TV:Remote rely on similar APIs and connect through the same IP address and port. Whatever is blocking access to the Roon Display is probably affecting the app as well.

@R_102 Is there any way of sorting albums by date? And are Smart Playlists supported… all of mine seem to come up with Not Found.

@fireapple unfortunately album sorting isn’t supported. It’s not something I’ve looked into but based on how browsing works via the api I’m not sure if it’s feasible.

May I ask for an artist sort on the album view in browse? It currently sorts by album name by default.
TV:remote is a great app and a very welcome addition to my Roon setup. Thanks voor making it! I use it all the time to see what’s playing. Much better (bigger) then the display on my streamer. The minor thing I would like to see displayed is format - like 96khz 24 bits - and wether it is a Qobuz file or a local file. Or am I missing a setting somewhere?

I have a little bit confused with Remote interface.
I see in Playlists only 2 from Tidal but no one Roon internal. Very strange that Roon Remote has show Tidal only 
but no Roon playlists.
Can you advise?
When I have playing some artist that I have local albums and also stream, usually I can go to Tidal and use there list of albums but not here. May I miss some config?

Just to confirm: is it only one local playlist that isn’t showing? If you add a new one, does that appear?
To better understand the issue, I’ll need to review the logs. Here’s how to enable logging:
- On your Apple TV, go to Settings > Apps > TV:Remote > Enable Logging.
- Once enabled, restart the TV:Remote app.
- In Roon, open the extension menu. The TV:Remote app should now display a log URL.
- Open that URL in a browser, copy the log content, and send it over to me.
It wasn’t not immediate - it wasn’t responsed a week. (6 days to be more accurate).
I have several playlists in Roon and no one are displayed.
Add new playlist - no changes only playlists from Tidal has displayed.
Thank for confirming. The app logs should give an insight to what’s causing the issue.
Is anyone having an issue with the Apple TV Settings app crashing when trying to change the port number? Remote stopped finding my Roon core, so I went to the app settings and noticed it was going for the wrong port number, as soon as I try to change it Settings instantly crashes.
I can send audio to the Apple TV just fine, but TV Remote is not seeing the core.
