Hello, I want to know if all Apple Tv’s are supported by Roon, I need a couple of zones and was wondering if the Apple Tv 1 is supported. They are up for grabbs, and I need it for a garden shedd and a dusty garage. Buying new is a shame for these not so ideal enviroments.

I’ve tried an ATV2, but not a 1.
My understanding is that ATV1 also supports airplay (and not the older protocol), so I would be surprised if it didnt work for audio, but we’ve never had the hardware to test with.
Anyone?
I have the first generation Apple TV and am pleased to report that yes, it works fine as a Roon endpoint.
