I apologize in advance if this comes over as a rant, but I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed with the glacier progress here. I’ve sort of given up on reporting missing album art when offline, as Roons developers still haven’t managed to fix that in over 3 years, but the recently born phenomenon where downloaded albums refuse to play unless recently “touched” online, is more than annoying - it renders ARC useless offline. I have just sat on a trans Atlantic flight, sans music, my crime, not remembering to click on every album in my downloads before going offline. Please sort this out, I am talking about personally owned music, downloaded into ARC, not tidal or Qobuz albums… why must my music be frequently authenticated with my server, if that’s indeed what its doing. Please fix ARC offline mode for downloaded albums and artwork.

Just to add that the issue has been accepted since November
There have been several tickets for artwork too, still not fixed.
I know …
Offline mode needs an overhaul. I never use it anymore. Hopefully one day.
