ARC Status

· ARC is *Ready*

Describe the issue

I can not connect my ARC App with my Nucleus

Describe your network setup

Telekom, Fritz!Box 3490, LAN, Win 11

Hello @Lothar_Vahling

To point you at the right thing, please tell us which method you are using to reach your Nucleus from outside:

  • Automatic configuration, meaning UPnP or NAT-PMP enabled on the Fritz!Box and Roon setting it up itself
  • Manual port forwarding, meaning you created the rule yourself
  • Tailscale, or another VPN, instead of port forwarding

Each has its own guide:

Automatic and manual:

Tailscale, which avoids port forwarding altogether:

Please also tell us what you have already tried, so we do not send you back over the same ground.

Two things that would help alongside that: a screenshot of the error in the ARC app, and a screenshot of Settings, then Roon ARC, on your Nucleus showing the full diagnostics text rather than just the Ready label.

Hello @Lothar_Vahling,

Wanted to follow up on this. Were you able to tell us which route you’re using to reach your Nucleus from outside, and what you’ve already tried so we don’t send you back over the same ground? If you have not yet looked at the ARC Port Forwarding guide or the Tailscale option, that ARC connection guide should help narrow things down, and a screenshot of the ARC error plus the full Roon ARC status text on the Nucleus would be useful too. Please reply with any updates or questions.
