Arc B360 - More screen space lost

The first thing that struck me with this latest update was the UI layout change on the download screen.

Not very subtle. Overly sized.

The ‘Find Downloads’ button isn’t needed in my view. I can navigate to the albums page and can see what’s available to download as there isn’t a purple tick next to them.

‘Setup Smart Downloads’ should be in the settings, not on this screen in my opinion.

The three buttons below these I like, however they need shrinking to all be visible.

The buttons are far too large indeed. For a moment I thought that the user was finally able to fine tune the way smart downloads work, but too bad that’s not possible. It still makes a rather dumb selection.

You need to get another Smartphone :slightly_smiling_face:

Seriously though, I’m curious - are those buttons horizontally scrollable? If so, it’s reminding me of the Windows Phone design language…

Yes they are.

You made me chuckle

The thing is, Roon devs working on Arc only test with main stream devices (from a conversation with one of the devs). I have an iPhone 16 Pro Plus which I would consider is a main stream device.

But you have given me food for thought. You have an Android device. My Android is even worse than my iPhone, but I can easily tinker with that devices DPI.

Yes it does scroll and I really liked Windows Phone OS. I had a Nokia 1520 and at that time it was considered huge.

Oh boy, don’t tell use Harman has sold out to Bill Gates :face_with_hand_over_mouth:
