Description of Issue
Not quite sure if what I am describing here are issues or just features not mature enough. At first I would not think of this as a support issue as I keep reading all these posts how Arc CarPlay is working ‘fine’ for most people. But I am not one of them, so I though maybe there is something I am doing wrong
First of all I want to say that I am a HUGE fan or everything Roonlabs. For me ARC means playing my own music on the go and not having to use multiple apps. And CarPlay is an import element here. But here is the thing, in my usecase ARC Carplay (and this is ALL about carplay here) has some weird issues:
- Upon launching Arc Carplay albums art rendering is either delayed or it never appears
- When I e.g add a new album and then open Arc Carplay it will not show up most of the time. To trigger the refresh I have to open the Arc App on my iphone. Then Carplay gets refreshed
3.In Carplay Album or Artists view the sorting is ‘fixed’ it appears to be based on number of plays. Some users say that changing the sort order in the App will update the carplay sort order too. NOT in my case. No matter what I do in the Arc App the sort order is ALWAYS the same. The problem here is that the artist or album I want could be anywhere in the long list, so no easy way to scroll to them
I did Arc reset, I reinstalled the app but none of it helped. And I have all the latest version of all components
Thoughts?
