Description of Issue -

What is the exact port forwarding error message you see in the Roon Settings → ARC tab?

Used to be able to connect to ARC (albeit unusable outside of house) but never really used ARC due to instability. Recently upgraded Roon server and now completely unable to connect to ARC.

Went through all trouble shooting docs as of done multiple times in the past getting it to work first time round. No joy this time though, tried upnp toggling, tried manual port forwarding, nothing works now.

Hi @0_0,

Starlink will block port forwarding, since they have implemented carrier-grade network address translation across their residential tier accounts. Bypassing this requires either meticulous setup of an end-to-end IPv6 network, or alternatively, Tailscale.

We most commonly recommend Tailscale for Mac users, since it is more reliable than port forwarding for NAT traversal and requires very little technical setup beyond installation.
