ARC connectivity issue (ZTE ZXA10 and TP-Link 300 Router)

Roon Core Machine

MacMini M1 Ventura.

Networking Gear & Setup Details

TP-Link 300 Mbps wireless N Gigabit router
Modem
ZTE ZXA10
Firewall works, but Roon connections enabled.
I connect to the internet (the router) via ethernet cable.
WiFi is switched off on my Mac
I do not use VPN.
An iPhone, an iPad (WiFi) and a Smart TV (ethernet) are also connected to the router.

Description of Issue

What is the exact port forwarding error message you see in the Roon Settings → ARC tab?

{
“connectivity”: {“status”:“NetworkError”,“status_code”:504,“error”:“error: Error: ETIMEDOUT, response code: undefined, body: undefined connected? undefined”},
“external_ip”: {“actual_external_ip”:“84.ddd.eee.fff”,“router_external_ip”:“100.aaa.bbb.ccc”},
“status”: “status”: MultipleNatFound
,
“natpmp_autoconfig”: {“status”:“NotFound”},
“upnp_autoconfig”: {“server_ip”:“192.168.0.1”,“found_upnp”:true}
}

You have a double Nat according to that log which is where you have two routers with two different IP addresses.

I doubt the DaVinci Resolve Issue has anything to do with it.

Please give your current network setup and how your core connects including any VPN you might be using. This is a network configuration issue.

Hey @Pal_Virag,

Following up on @CrystalGipsy’s note,

It does point to a double nat at play in your setup. Let me know if you’re still having issues getting Arc setup :pray:
