ARC crashed with 20,000 songs playlist on iPhone

hello everybody

I have a critical crash and roon ARC won’t open again. (need to refresh app).

it happens when you have a playlist more then 20,000 songs
when open a playlist the app will hang and no longer be response.
when restart app you get only black screen and will not open (waited about 10 min still nothing)
when i reinstall a app. app works again but when i click on the playlist it crashes and hang again.

when on Roon remote it works but when close playlist or remove edit it very slow or sometimes very slow.

Tested this on:
Iphone 13/12 Pro, Android and Imac and windows PC (same result)
Core version: 172.28.0.2
Roon Arc Version: 1.0.38

That’s 42 days of music. Use a smaller playlist.

yes but that not the reason that i can see the playlist even so.
if you want to shuffle your music like artist or albums you can’t in roon arc
so that why i created a playlist to play my library music
if is there a another way around i would like to hear that.

Here’s a comment from Roon staff in a testing thread:

We can investigate the limit in this case but I can say for sure that Roon app’s limit is around 5000, after this this we cannot guarantee that the app will behave as expected.

I suggest you create smaller playlists.

Yes, on the now playing screen, toggle the shuffle icon.
