Yes it is that simple, as your source is already a 48 kHz file. However, a more common 44.1 kHz file would be converted to 48 because that’s what Android uses. See here if you are into a discussion:
If I turn on my wireless Sony’s, it appears to be upsampling everything to 96kHz. Sounds amazing. And I have my entire library at my disposal. Cool stuff. I’ll probably buy a subscription.
