Description of Issue

Arc Playlist downloads: many tracks showing “unavailable” despite them residing on my phone. Have deleted and reinstalled playlists 3 times. No joy.

Some support would be nice. Now reinstalled playlists 4 times. They work for a short while then vanish. Right now I’m sitting with a 1TB phone purchased specifically for Arc, which is all but useless. Would love to get it working without having to reinstall 511.3GB of music.

ARC doesn’t access local files stored on the phone it is running on. It receives a stream from your Core. The music needs to be stored on your Core.

Thanks for the reply. My music is stored on my core. I also have files on my phone for offline use and to access full res files. Can’t access those. Showing “unavailable” even when downloaded onto my phone

Still occurs even when I’m connected to the local network at home

Unavailable usually means the streaming service has a geographical version outside your region.

Are you seeing ‘unavailable’ for local content stored on your core ?

You should set out the details of the devices and path that you are using when you see this. At the moment you are leaving @support to try and guess what your devices and signal path is.

Hi,
My apologies for the delay in replying. Roon Core works well now and tracks are showing available on it.
Still can’t get Arc to work with my downloads which reside on my phone. Most downloaded playlists have disappeared but still taking up space on my phone (so they’re there somewhere). Fortunately the remaining few playlists are now showing available.
The downloaded albums are all there and working.
Path: do you mean my setup?
Roon is running on a NUC which is hardwired to my various Sonos zones.
Local tracks are on my NAS which is hardwired to the ROCK.
Roon version 2.0 (build 1259)
Arc 1.0.36 (build 177)
513.4GB downloaded tracks on my phone.
