Hello @senol,

Thank you for reaching Roon support and welcome them to our community!

I understand it’s frustrating to see the “poor connection outside of home” message in Roon ARC. Based on the information you’ve provided and the way ARC is designed to work, we’d like to clarify a few important points.

Roon ARC relies on your mobile device’s cellular connection when you’re outside of your home network. While we can assist with setup, port forwarding, and ensuring your home network is configured correctly, we unfortunately cannot improve or troubleshoot the quality of your mobile internet connection. This part is entirely dependent on your mobile carrier’s network strength, coverage, and reliability.

If ARC works well at home but struggles when you’re on cellular data, we recommend the following:

  • Try switching between mobile networks (e.g., 4G and 5G).
  • Test ARC in different locations to see if the issue is specific to certain areas with weak coverage.
  • Confirm that your mobile provider does not restrict or throttle specific types of traffic.

Let us know if you need help checking whether ARC is correctly set up on your home network. We’re here to support you with anything that’s within our control.

It was a port forwarding issue, now solved.
