Roon Core with IPV4 and IPV6 (HTTPS, Port 55002, TCP) – both port releases show “Green”
The Roon software shows, that it is ready (Roon-ARC can safely access my Core, My core has been automatically configured and Roon-ARC is confirmed for save access)
So far, all good
Now:
When starting ARC (Samsung S21 FE 5G) it finds my Roon Core:
! only available on your network! à Connect
Your Roon Core is not configured for access outside your network
To connect, make sure your Roon Core is turned in and configured for remote access.
When then pushing the connect button, it takes a while and it comes to the “to connect…” statement above
What is wrong?
N.B. ARC works well on my Mobile, as soon as WIFI is switched on and connect to my home network
I disabled now the UPNP and still left the port forwarding on (IPv4 & IPv6) - no change.
The ARC settings tab in Roon still states all is fine, however ARC is not working (can’t connect to your Roon Core)…
Did you restart your Core? To be sure that the network connection is updated with the new setting.
If you did I must say that I am out of ideas too. Did you look through the different topics in the Port forwarding category? For instance looking for problems with your Internet provider.
There are problems reported with the provider. However, the external adress seems to be OK.
As no other ideas are around, I will contact the provider, the see further.
Nevertheless - thank you very much for your help - very much appreciaetd indeed.
