We wanted to check back in on this issue. Diagnostics indicate that the ARC instance associated with your account has had several episodes of poor network reachability without cause and audio engine loading failures in the least few weeks. Some of these are simply warnings, whereas some are more severe and might affect the UI or playback. Please let us know if you’ve had any symptoms.
What we don’t see, however, are crash reports around the time of a CarPlay connection. Can you provide an update as to whether the crash after attempting to play 1200+ item playlists in ARC via CarPlay is still occurring?
I had a few instances of Poor connection in the past week or so. However these crashes happen everyone I try to play those playlists. The crash with playlist with 1200+ track is 100% reproducible and still happening
What I find weird is that I see the exact same issue on two different cars. I find it unlikely that VW and Mazda would have something in common that would be causing this and no other car brands are seeing this issue.
Hi @Emil_Zimmermann,
Thanks for the update. We’ll note this in the tracking ticket for this investigation. Once we have next steps or a fix released we will be sure to let you know here!
I have the same crash with large playlists on ARC in CarPlay in three cars: VW Polo, Volvo V60 and a Fiat Ducato with a Pioneer radio. Selecting the playlist causes ARC to close
