ARC Trick: Put iPhone into the fridge before downloading

I have an extremely large library and have been a frequent ARC critic. I’m finding now that it’s working pretty well after implementing some of the suggestions of Roon support. One additional trick that I have found helps is to put my iPhone into the fridge for about 10 minutes before connecting to the cloud every week and downloading an additional album for offline listening which is all I use ARC for with an AK HC5 when I’m out and only want one device with me

How do you browse your music when in offline mode? In my case I can play most music only by using the playlists I’ve downloaded. When in my library, only the albums section does show content. The artists or titles pages are empty. Also the genre sections have no content. And when I use the albums view most albums have no tracks. Even when I select “go to album” from the now playing screen, most albums don’t show any tracks. It happens with albums, which are in the playlists with all tracks. As I’m an album listener, I only use (smart) playlists to select albums to listen offline. It would be helpful to have an albums view for playlists instead of a stupid track list with 10000s of songs.

I don’t browse the library using ARC. To add an album to my IPhone I tag it in the library before going online to download it for offline listening.

But how do you find the Album in ARC?

There’s no top level search but you can search/filter within the downloaded albums.

i download the album manually, focusing on tagged, and when it’s downloaded I go off line and it’s then listed in dowloaded
