ARC UI not showing for Android Auto
Running ARC 1.0.61 build 100327. As of a couple of weeks ago I can no longer get the UI to show on Android Auto, just get the "spinning wheel". I've forced stopped, rebooted and get nothing. If go to the phone I can get the UI to show there and control the music which plays through the car stereo so I have partial connection but ARC seems to not know that AA is being used anymore. Any suggestions?

Hi @Peter_Hunsberger,
Thank you for reaching out to us to ask about this issue. To help us troubleshoot can you please upload a recording of the head unit not showing the UI to this link? Additionally it would be helpful to know the make and model of the head unit you are using.

After literally weeks of not working the problem has gone away and not been repeatable. As for a recording of the screen, while looking for solutions to the problem I saw at least 2 or 3 previous reports of a similar problem with recordings that look the same as mine: a black screen with a spinning wait indicator in the middle of it. I can’t see how another recording would add any new information to what seems to be an ongoing problem? In my case the head unit is whatever comes with a 2025 Honda CRV Sport-L Hybrid. Is there a way for me to get you better information than that?

Hi @Peter_Hunsberger ,

Thanks for letting us know that the issue is solved. The video would have been helpful just to see the behavior when explaining the issue to the team. If the issue returns, please do let us know and we can proceed from there. I would have been curious to know if a reinstall of ARC helps with the behavior, should it occur again, please also provide this data point. Thanks!

Of course no sooner did I say the problem had gone away then it reoccurred. I’ve uploaded a video to the link, if you want to pull logs the problem occurred at almost exactly 2:00 PM CT today. Rebooting did resolve the problem this time.
