ARC unable to connect to RoonServer both inside and outside the house (ref#R8XXNT)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· Can’t reach my Server, remotes or ARC

Can’t connect to my Server, remotes or ARC

· Other ARC issues

· Roon works perfectly fine in the house however ARC won’t connect or find the server in the house or out of the house, it just keeps searching and never finds anything. Not sure why it’s not working and what I’m doing wrong? Thanks for any assistance.

As a first step, we’d recommend fully reinstalling the Roon ARC app on your mobile device. This can help clear out any cached state that might prevent ARC from discovering your Roon Server.

Please try the following:

  1. Delete the Roon ARC app from your device
  2. Reboot the device
  3. Reinstall the latest version of Roon ARC from the App Store / Play Store
  4. Open ARC and sign in again

Once that’s done, check whether ARC is able to discover and connect to your Roon Server, both on your home network and while outside the house.

If the issue persists after reinstalling, let us know and we’ll continue with the next steps.
