Away from home, I listen to my own hi-res and DSD albums loaded onto an Astell & Kern SP-3000 while walking the dog.
However, when I’m at a restaurant, I only bring one device with me – an iPhone that I use with an Astell & Kern HC2 DAC
I’ve been finding ARC to be very unreliable – lots of disconnections, freezing etc
and I so I decided to download my own albums onto the iPhone as a test–same problems
For this reason, I’ve decided to listen only to Qobuz hi-res albums that I’ve downloaded on the iPhone at restaurants
I’ll leave a few DSD albums on the phone and from time to time will keep trying with ARC
Perhaps a future generation of ARC will be more reliable cc @danny @noris
