ARC - Why doesn't the app allow full Roon functions, and Qobuz access

Hi everyone,

Apologies if this has already been discussed, I’ve done some searching but haven’t been able to find a clear explanation.

Could someone kindly provide some insight into why Roon ARC has limited access to streaming services? For example, I’m particularly curious why we can’t access Qobuz directly through ARC to browse new releases, genres, or search full catalog.

Music discovery is very important to me, and ARC’s restricted functionality is very limiting for music discovery. Currently I need to jump between Qobuz, and ARC, or discover via Roon app and save, for ARC listening.

Appreciate any clarification!

It’s relatively new. Perhaps over time it will develop.

3 years this. Although released Sept with 2.0 it was being used in EA since July I think that’s plenty of time.
