Description of Issue -

What is the exact port forwarding error message you see in the Roon Settings → ARC tab?

My roon arc won’t connect to the server ever since I switched my server to the Nucleus One. I know that it has the right IP but im not sure what I need to configure to get Arc working.

This is the error:

{
“ipv4_connectivity”: {“status”:“NetworkError”,“status_code”:404,“error”:“”},
“ipv6_connectivity”: {“status”:“NetworkError”,“status_code”:504,“error”:“error: Error: ETIMEDOUT, response code: undefined, body: undefined connected? undefined”},
“external_ip”: {“actual_external_ip”:“70.hhh.iii.jjj”,“actual_external_ipv6”:“2603:aaa:bbb:ccc:ddd:eee:fff:ggg”,“router_external_ip”:“null”},
“natpmp_autoconfig”: {“status”:“NotFound”},
“upnp_autoconfig”: {“server_ip”:“192.168.1.1”,“found_upnp”:true,“error”:“<s:Envelope xmlns:s="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/\” s:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/\“><s:Body><s:Fault>s:ClientUPnPError<UPnPError xmlns="urn:schemas-upnp-org:control-1-0">718ConflictInMappingEntry</s:Fault></s:Body></s:Envelope>”}
}

One cause of the ‘ConfictInMappingEntry’ uPnP error is that Roon Server is trying to use uPnP on the router to forward a port that is already being forwarded to a different ip address.

This can happen if you have other servers opening ports. Sometimes it can happen if the ip address of your Roon server changes.

You could try changing the port number that Roon ARC uses to something like 60000 (should be between 1025 and 65535) and see if that resolves the issue:

Hi @Amir_Saran,
Thanks for reaching out to us about this issue. I agree with what @Wade_Oram said in his comment. Did changing the port number Roon is using help?

Good morning @daniel and @Wade_Oram!
Sorry for the delayed response. That was indeed the solution! I actually realized it on my own shortly after posting this thread but thank you so much for the assistance! I’m loving my Nucleus thus far!
