If you accidentally click ‘Remove’ instead of ‘Rescan Library’ on a watched folder, there is no pop-up box asking ‘Are you sure?’
A function to remove a watched folder could cause tremendous hassle for someone who may not have an upto date backup.
Roon, please make this a mandatory update for the next update.
No objection to having warning, it may help to avoid someone getting that sinking feeling.
However, removing a watched folder is not destructive by itself, it can just be added back without any loss.
It would also take performing a library cleanup before the database links are removed.
After that then only a DB recovery from backup would recover it.

You are correct in what you say, but the adding the drive/folder back does trigger a full library scan, identification process.
This could be a for some a considerable time.
I don’t think this is a Feature Suggestions but it is very good Feedback
