I have the ArgonOne case for RPi4, and there is a shutdown script working on Raspbian for gracefully shutdown the Pi from it’s included button.

I would like to use the shutdown feature in Ropieee, but i could not get the script working.
I was trying to adapt this version of the script for Arch, but without success: https://github.com/kounch/argonone
Maybe Harry could include the script in Ropieee.

Maybe with a nice donation you might twist his arm 
not sure how much power you save if the supply is still plugged in
It is not about power saving.
I have Khadas Tone Board connected to RPi.
I just need to switch it off when not in use.
I have just managed to install the script.
Everything is working as expected.
