Artist picture new format in 1.8

In roon <1.7 the limits for the custom artist pictures (to get a full background image) were:
-1.55 aspect ratio
-960 pixel width

I have noticed that in 1.8 the limits have to be different (i’ve tried with a <1.5 aspect ration picture).
Could anyone specify which are the new rules?

anyway: in the new wide screen (al least, on PC monitor) of the artist page, it’s almost impossible to find a picture that is not badly cut horizontally.
